Have you tried changing the rubber? Old and worn out rubber doesn't do the trick, I remember when I changed mine, mainly for "cosmetic" reasons, I saw a huge difference. They're pretty cheap so you could give it a go...

I note the comment about new rubbers but many of us and myself included have replace the pegs for all steel ones a bit wider and more grip I don't get significant vibration - a tingle at some speeds but most of the time it's fine.

What kind of boots do you wear?

Well thats right question i had POLO boots witch is german brand but by the time they were bad in wet than i bought DAYTONA also in germany cca 380 EUR. Those new r much better 4 vibrations but still if i do spin around 250 milles i feel it 4 week.

    Re: Vibration from pegs XRV750

OK I have Daytona Boots for my road bikes and they are very good BUT not as comfortable on the Africa Twin as the enduro type boots I have - these are Hein Gericke Touareg. Remember that I do not have rubber at all.

How is your riding position? Are the pegs under the arches of your feet or on the ball of your foot? It is better on the ball of your foot.

Does this happen at all speeds - is there a rev. range that vibrates more than others - maybe a change of sprocket to a higher gear might help - I have done this and so for road touring it does not rev so high.

I agree it's probably carb balance. When you get your new guages. Plug both one after the other into the same inlet to make sure they read the same. Some of the cheaper sets can be poor.

    If it's between 4000-5000rpm, I'll bet it's a carb balance problem.
