    Question Vibration from pegs XRV750

    Hi everybody!

    i have xrv750 02 year boght last april and i did good millage (12.000 milles) since that time but my right ankle is gone from vibrations from peg i know that the engine is mounted to the frame without any dumpers but there must be some solution how 2 make it smooth.

    CAN ANYBODY HELP PLEASE?

    do you have the rubber bits on the pegs?? if not that can make a difference....

    yes i do

    before i had steel pegs 4 offroad but i took them very quickly down and fitted original rubber ones whitch was bit better
    its not even about tyres since ive got my bike i tried diferent brands and metzelers r the best.
    dont know what 2 do?

    have you given the area around the pegs and all bolts attaching engine to frame a check to see if any our loose, as this can cause it. infact anything loose could cause excess vibs, so check everything is done up and not 'wobbley'.

    also check wheel, swingarm, head and linkage bearings...

    hope you can find the cause

    Have you had the carbs balanced and also are you using an aftermarket end can / exhaust?

    i had on the beginning original can but i replaced that 4 laser produro and no deferent

    never had done those carbs balanced is it big job 2 do it

    Carbs - easy if you have tool to do it and know what you are doing - makes a huge difference

    i found some video on utube and was 4 gs1200 and doesnt looks like something so hard u can make a tool your self from plastic clear pipe with diometer5-6 mm some 2 stroke oil like indicator inside the tube stand few clips and here u go

    or i m wrong and there something what i should know before i tuch it???

    Yep you can make the tool but it needs to be consistent and accurate or you won't see the benefit. Make sure engine is hot preferably straight after a run. The adjuster screw is a pig to find and turn - easier with a right angled geared screwdriver
