Its only a small hand winch - just an idea at this stage to save me from events such as....
Dont go Solo

Surely, if its attached somehow to the frame then it may / should work. Only one way to find out I suppose and thats to test it.

The upper RICKY CROSS bars mount to the lower bars and the upper frame support
The upper mount is rubber bushed and IS NOT suitable for a winch, you will just rip the frame/ instrement support from the front of the AT
Its designed for impact not pulling.

I think I bought the full set for mine for about £120 s/h off e bay 4 yrs ago at least.

Having read your thread on 'going solo' you need a lighter weight trail bike for that sort of riding a cheap and chearful serrow/ Xr/ XL/ etc etc or even an Armstrong

er rrm watch this space as I've nearly finished my project now !
