    Unhappy clutch problems

    Hi everyone

I seem to have a problem with engine noise when my RD07 is not in gear.
Starting up is not a problem, but as soon as she warms up there is a
Strange noise from the engine, when I pull the clutch lever the noise gets louder. (sounds like something is loose)
The minute I slip her into gear all noises disappear.

I had a look at the Haynes manual, and still have no clue what the problem could be.

I'm no mechanical GURU, and would appreciate all the help I can get.

Don't worry, that's normal AT behaviour.

If that is a normal behavior, then I’m fine with that. As long as there is no big bang waiting for me.
I have a CBR954RR and it too has some funny sounds, but been driving it for 4 years no and has no problems.
Could you perhaps tell me what the cause of noise could be?

It sounds like bad clutch basket rattle. They do get loose with age but I've never heard of any catastrophic failures. It doesn't sound very nice.

    Re: clutch problems

How would I fix this problem?
Or is it just unnecessary cost, and I should live with it???
