    A temporary fix: Ta 700cc can on rd07 a

    Hello again!

Some rat decided to empty my can. I mean literally they emptied the poor things guts out so here I am left with an empty bazooka rendering the bike useless and quite loud actually.

SO as an interim solution the LV distributor offered me a TA 700cc exhaust pipe.

Can it do the job? Will it wear out anything inside the engine?

    Opinions anybody?

I thought I'd get in first with the standard answer, You'll need to dyno it, or try a colortune.
Basically it could make the engine run weak which can burn out valves.
Chances are, it is more restrictive. Therefore, causing no damage, but strangling your engine's power, hence the need for a dyno run and possibly smaller main jets.
You could suck it and see. Take it for a ride and do a plug chop.
That is, ride at full throttle for a short way, pull in the clutch, kill the engine, then check plugs for colour; not easy access on Trannies, not sure about ATs.
