Hi,
Dont know much about shock replacement but was a bit concerned about mine as the compression adjuster can be turned from soft to firm with no effect and no resistance on the adjuster. im guessing thats not right and it is either broken or needs attention. Its another job for when time and funds allow.
Would it not be cheaper to have original serviced/rebuilt than replace entire shock? Have you guys considered WP suspension, there has been good reviews about them on other threads?

Sounds like yours is ready for rebuild or replacement. Thought about rebuild on mine for about 2 seconds Im convinced i'd be better off spending my money on a better shock to start with.

Have looked at possibly a WP off a ktm, but they have fixed damping reservoirs which wont fit in the space of the RD04

Just waiting for some q's to be answered from Nitron and then possibly decide.

I had a look mon the Nitron site. Their shocks look nice, all new stuff does though. They dont seem to stock stright replacements for AT's.
Was doing a bit of searching and these two came up...
may be useful to you as they both have good reputations and can service oem parts...
