    Ride height...

I took my africa twin proper off roading yesterday, down all the lanes I usually take my WR426F down... now I'm not an amazing rider but the AT really isn't up to it, I'm shortly changing for a KTM950ADV but for now I want to check my AT is sitting right. I do like my AT it's been an amazing bike but I want something newer and a bit more suited to my riding.

The ground clearance from the bash guard (measured next to the gear lever) is approx 220 mm

The suspension etc itself seems fine and seems to work fine, but is it meant to sit this low? I think a lot of it must have been the center stand which is going to be removed in due course.. but I hit the pegs down a few times and definetly hit the bash plate lots!

Other than that the AT is really good, it took me everywhere the WR takes me (although theres a hill I went down which I'm not too sure the AT would make it back up haha.. ) overall a great bike don't get me wrong, just wondering if mine has been lowered in the past.

Standard cure for @'s lack of ground clearance; . . . KTM adv front end and longer shock. . . . . . . or just wait for a 950 , . . just be prepared for the increase in maintenance needed.

    Re: Ride height...

My forks are also dropped about 20mm, not because I'm short but because I liked the super quick handling haha going to raise it back up a bit although the front suspension didn't cause any real problems, reminds me of my old XR... Just point it and ride at anything haha

Rear suspension is getting on a bit but it's not knackered I dont think so not sure its that, I think the only cure is going to be orange
