    KW on Africa RD07

question is following.. I have never checked whether my Africa has reduced power since it was imported from Germany. Looking into Haynes manual showed me that my chassis number starts with RD0732 and engine number with RD04E35 which shows, based on manual that power has been reduced (Germany type Ii model).

Can I somehow "un-reduce" this power and get it back to full? Can this be done with new carb rubbers which are not choke down or this reduction of power has been done in some other way?

    Thanks for help.

You can remove the restriction from your existing carb rubbers.

Or just purchase new non restricted rubbers.

It's somewhat fiddly to remove the restrictions.

From riding Ktm950/990's the AT feels very flat. Can anybody confirm if my bike is restricted or not?

    RD04E27

I think the lazyness can be contributed to a sticky throttle.

Yes, I would presume it would

But the AT will continue to feel flat for miles after miles, long after the KTM is parked by the back wall of the KTM workshop waiting for a complete overhaul.
