    Choke Cable Plastic Screw Wanted!

    Hi All,

Just a quick one, I am in need of the plastic part of the choke cable, the part that screws into the carbs and holds the cable in place.

If anyone has this part you would be a lifesaver.

    Cheers.

    Adam.

    Hi,

I just got myself a set of aluminum replacements, and stainless springs from a (small) German supplier through an online friend from ADV rider. If you's like I could hook you up. They cost me about US$ 30.00 per set, and that's mainly due to postage. Let me know if you'd be interested so I can hook you up. Cheers,

    Luigi

Make sure you get the right size - I bought a pair of choke cables on eBay complete with choke fittings etc BUT they are the wrong size - there is a difference between models

    Hi Guys,

As stated in my previous message, unfortunately I don't have the direct contact but a friend on ADV who sent them to me does. Please see the following link:

Meanwhile, I will contact Allain and see if he can give me the direct details so that each of the interested parties can contact Peter (the manufacturer) directly. Cheers,

    Luigi

    FYI

Some time ago I spoke to a secret contact at Rugged Roads production facility in downtown Bangalore. He told me that they were intending to produce some higher quality aluminium versions of these choke cable nuts.

I will almost certainly order a couple of sets of these to replace the plastic ones on my bike BEFORE they break.

If you drop Rugged Roads an email, I'm sure they'll let you know when they're gonna be available.
