    RD04 aftermarket exhaust

    Right then peeps

What would be good options to look at to replace the standard silencer / link pipe?

Ideally I would like it to be road legal, lighter, stainless / alloy etc

If anyone has one for sale or lurking around in the back of a garage please let me know (good condition or polishupable!!)

02 RD07a RWB, Powerbronze tall screen, Remus Grand Prix, TT crash bars, TT pannier frame, Zega style panniers, Alpos top box,TT bar risers, TT headlamp guard, Heated grips, mainstand, Heidenau K60s for road and light offroad, TKC80s for the dirty stuff, Scottoiler, Autocomm, TT Zumo mount, Zumo 550 and most of all A BIG GRIN !!! Oh, and a very nice RD04 HRC coloured Marathon Replica

I made my own for my RD04. I bought a secondhand Carbon Can Co end can and a new stainless link pipe (meant for a car) from ebay. I had to cut 6" off the link pipe and that was it. Total cost £40

Arrow paris dakar rep exhaust, i had one on my old rd07a and is ticks all your box's, its not too loud with the baffle in and sounds great without. It will pass MOT's but has a not for road use stamp on the side which can be polished out.

    Re: RD04 aftermarket exhaust

I've sold my ProDuro and have now an stainless Yoshimura RS3.
(Not installed at the moment though, must take the bike through the Swedish MOT first)

My ProDuro was the "Race only" model, and it was a bit loud for my liking
I had it on for a very short while, and quickly decided it was to loud.

But it is a very well made silencer, although a bit expensive, that is if you can find it. I think it's now obsolete and out of production.

    The Arrow Paris-Dakar replica dynograph:

click on "power graph" in the right corner

Worth noticing is the difference between stock and Arrow from 3000 to 4250 rpm.
    Stock is better.
