    Africa twin

Hello all, i have fuel driping from the carb over flow pipe, its a very slight drip, and only notice it when parked up on side stand with engine off.was wondering if a sticking choke could cause it.or do i have another problem.the reason why i mention choke,is it tends to be a bit jerky at low revs, below 2000revs and was thinking of doing the choke plungers to hopefuly fix this and smooth out the revs. I would be very gratefull for your help.xrv750r 94 with 44,000miles.

    +1 for a sticking float.

You will need to remove the bottom of the carbs for this, so it could be a bit fiddly.

Before you delve too deep, treat it to a can of fuel system cleaner (Halfords etc) which you add to the petrol in the tank. Add it to a small amount of fuel for a nice strong mix, then take the bike for a good thrash.

For £5 it MIGHT work, and would save the aggro of dismantling the carbs.
