About LinkBacksmy trip meter is showing signs of the dreaded all fat ladies display (all 8,s). i have seen various posting on the web about this problem but no solution other than a german ebay site offering to sell a repair manual, i think! Anybody know the cure?

Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes then reconnect.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.
1 Varadero/34,000 miles ridden (of 57,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

thanks Yen, had tried to disconnect the ground yesterday, but just tried the positive, that did it !!
