    What Tyres

Recently purchased 03 AT.Just 3600m on clock. It has the original T66 front and back but reading through diff sites it seems there are better tyres out there. Bike used mainly on tarmac 90% of time plus a little gravel time. Any suggestions for the ultimate tyre regarding grip longevity price etc !!!
Also wishing to change colour of front mudguard and fork protectors[white at mo]. Anyone know a co in London or S/E can do ?

Nice link for tyres: http://vstrom.info/fom-serve/cache/8.html. I`m gonna try Metzeler Tourance, sounds like a good combination.

Now I have Bridgestone Trailwings. They are OK but never tried anything else on my AT. Any other tried Tourance?

I have had 2 sets of Metzeler Tourance since I have had the bike. I cant compare them to anything as I have never had anything else. They seem to have great mileage, good wear patterns, and good gip. I dont think they are the cheapest tyre but I will definately be getting another set after the summer.

I changed to Tourance about 5k miles ago. I like them better than the TrailWing - wet and dry they feel much more secure on the road. Wear seems pretty good far - got 11k out of the TrailWings.

Well got home from work early. Cut the lawn, then fitted my new front tyre [Tourance] front wheel still in balance. Hope to fit the rear tomorrow.
