    Exhaust & GPS

Ive been thinking of getting a new exhaust for the At. Im finding people move out of my way when they see me bearing down on them, but some idiots, just dont use their mirrors, and the AT is sooo quiet with the standard Can, they dont hear me either.

Im not looking for anything too OTT, just a little more bark would do nicely. I have been looking through a few online sites, and finding stuff for the AT is starting to become a little difficult.

Also, GPS... anyone have one fitted ? any recommendations ? GPS mounts ?

My GPS is the Garmin StreetPilot III, Its mounted on the Tourateck handlebar cradle. As for Exhausts mines a Lazer road legale

I've been using road legal BSM exhaust (from David Silver Spares) which has a richer sound than the stock one and a nice burble on the overrun. However I'm using the standard one again at the moment out of consideration for the neighbours (I leave for work at 6:15). I may sell the BSM and stick with the original.

I use an iPAQ+TomTom Navigator software for GPS. Works very well. The iPAQ is not particularly robust but I mount in an Otter case (waterproof) and attach it to the bars with a RAM mount.

OOH ....Steve, selling an exhaust ? I looking for one, be waiting for David Silver spares to have some more BSM seconds in. At £105 compared to £200 new its worth it but none in at present

.....but " jvaughan " has first call on the exhaust, he asked first

    That's if your selling

I just (hopefully) uploaded a picture of the bike with the BSM exhaust fitted.

GPS V which works fine for me as it is small and pretty robust. Only downside is the small memory of 19mb. Aquired small cheap laptop to overcome that problem

A few of us with AT's have the Remus Grand Prix Race Can.
I like it its reasonably loud so I do try to not to crack it open too often!
I have a sound file somewhere of it, so I'll upload it when I have a moment.

As for GPS I use a Dell Axim with GPS CF Card (off eBay), and Tom Tom Navigator 3 software. It works fantatastically well. I use RAM Mounts on the car and bike, and got these from ummmm I think it was GPS something or other. I'll look up the URL later.

    Mudguard

SteveLee - does your rear mudguard drag along the ground when you get on the bike? That's the longest mudguard extension I've ever seen!

    Maybe I can help?

    Greetings

Just posted a MICRON end can for an X-reg AT on eBay.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ADME:B:LC:UK:1

The previous owner had it on but I preferred the original so had him put that back on before I bought it. Looks shiny and new!
