Re: Rally Replica Build (or should this be Johm_aero copies Stormforce)

i have both ktm and original @ hubs.

reason dont want use ktm wheels is i have rebuild it with new SS spokes and gold sm rim to mach my rear one.

have 3 axles, have axel same leght as ktm but thinner to suit @ hub. i am getting sleeve pressed onto the right side to makeit the same thickness as the ktm axles, and a nut for the left with a threadded internal section that acts as the end nut and sleeve for the left leg. these will also incorporate the spacers so i wont have try fiddle with spacers when fitting wheel.

i am not sure what do with speedo lugs on wheel, maybe grind them off

exisitng ktm rim was shot along with spokes so last lad removed them to reduce postage costs.

rear.....if i had done conversion now i would go 18in rear, but i had built wheels last year before concidered this project

do i cut the blue or red one.hhhhhmmmmm

got figure way try make all lights on dash work.

i think what i only hav eleft is order soem posi locks and taps as i run out to splice into the main power lead in ignition (hence long red wire)

then try see how get the low beam indi on dash working. think as lights come on auto if i wire wire from dash into the switched power lead then when key is on they green light showing lights are one should work

the roadbook is a nice job must say and for the money compared to the rest they are great quality

fork springs on order now, calliper hangar ordered also.

so waiting for lad to make axel spacers up...maybe i should have just laced new gold rim on ktm hub been so much faster and handier.

wiring getting there, dash all done just fit sensors when i get wheel on and have bike rolling.

have fit upgraded fuel pump thats in th ebox.

have tank off so going tidy loom up after alarm removal, check valves seen as have tank off and give bike a good clean up under there before assembly

next item be painting, have get decals for the front fairing then last item to buy...new shock

so hopefully if mate pulls the finger out i should hav ebike done fats enough, just getting tim is the killer
