Finally got Seat sorted

Hi All,

Finally got seat sorted by GA Wells & Sons in Shepshed, Leics, and I must say it's well worth every penny of £30 - They had it finished in around 40 Minutes and the seat was perfect first time! Once again cheers lads!

Now you just need to spray the bike black and gold, and it'd be perfect!

The black ones are slower because the riders are fatter

Finally got Seat sorted

Hi wilko
just a quick question, what exactly did the seat guys do to the seat. From the photos it looks wider but is it softer, harder or higher.
Would love to know as my bum complains a bit after the longer trips and no its not the curry!!

Hi,

I too suffered with pains and it was always generally after about an hour in the saddle - having the work done is worth it.
Overall seat height remains the same, it is quite substantially softer but not too soft as this generally has an opposite effect, and width has been increased around an inch either side, however, this is all down to what you prefer and they will adjust accordingly.

Cheers

Paul

Must have been the AT. after me at wells & son. I had mine done on 30th Oct. also at 10am. had a good laugh with the lads. Had to re-mould my arse afterwards but 500 miles later it's FAB! £30 quid, I paid £20!
Chris.
