The gaskets in my pic are original Honda gaskets. Bought from Honda ireland. If that helps.

Hopefully it'll be something daft/simple (electrical, lack of fuel flow etc).
Thinking about it, surely, lack of oil feed to the top end would 'just' wreck the top end rather than seize the engine.....

Really hope you get sorted, it must be a sickening feeling - good luck stick with it.

    Sorry to hear this.

Silly question, but was there oil in the bike?

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

jas if you got it hot enough to seize that oil would stink to high heaven , as for the weemoto gaskets i was under the impression this was sorted quite a while ago , so i would be shocked if that was the problem.

i will be firing Toxic for the first time soon , ill be worse than a mother hen , stick with it dude

Re: Not a Happy Bunny!!!! Engine Seized?

    Hi Kitped,

I too recently rebuilt my engine and the gasket set I purchased did not have the small oil feed holes unlike the original Honda gaskets. As the holes were in a non-surface contact part of the gasket I punched a small hole in both the gaskets before assembly. The gasket set I fitted was bought from an ebay seller in September last year so may have been older stock. I know this doesnt help with your engine issue but may shed some light on the gasket situation. I really do hope it's not a seized engine.

    Regards,

    Ian.

Hi Ian, thanks for your reply, I guess Wemoto and the company you bought them from get them from the same source.

Managed to get the rear head off and there is no damage that can be seen (thankfully) now just have to get the engine out to look at the front one and lift the barrels off.

Will advise hopefully tomorrow when she's out

    Cheers
