    Back brake caliper wobbly...normal?

Front one is solid, but back one wobbles sideways if you grab hold of it...Bolts are tight

Knew I shouldn't clean my bike...nothing but bloody trouble

there should be a little sideways movement, in the front calipers also. There are 2 rubber boots (self-sealing with the grease used so it can slide) & as the pads wear down, at least one of the boots kind of forms a vacuum that pulls the caliper back to the disc. When you service (clean) using grease & copper slip, on appropriate parts, you'll see.

Just went out to check mine - it wobbles slightly - less than a quarter of an inch. It's all set up correctly - I think this is the equivalent of the floating you have in the front disc.
