Insanity does not run in my family, rather, it strolls through, taking it's time, getting to know everyone personally!

Ohlins no longer offer a standard fit shock for the RD04.
We have them made to order, using archive specifications - delivery is a looooooooooooooooooooong time though![]()

That's right, it's the type number for a generic shock of a certain design and not the individual number for a shock designed specific for an RD04.
The link to the Rugged Roads webpage shows that they sell Öhlins that will fit an RD03 or RD04, and I'm quite positive that Janne K. will get an answer if he contacts Rugged Road.
The few times I been in contact with them, they always came back with professional answers.

Edit: Rugged Roads beat me to it...
TRUST ME Russ is the guy to speak toHe used to sort all my track bikes out, and is going to refurb my stock rear and front suspension of my RD04, he say's that the stock rear shock correctly rebuilt will be as good as anything else you could buy for it. He will use ohlins internals for the front as he did on my rr3 blade awsome is all i can say. Even a trip in there for a suspension set up on your bike is an amazing transformation.

I have RD04 öhlins shock and I am after specification sheet for it. However I need that HOxxx code or could somebody help with that specification sheet. That tells original shim stacks because my shock has been modified for too heavy rider.
