    Speedometer

    Merry Christmas folks.

Bit of a poor christmas present this morning, the speedo doesn't work on my '98 AT. Was working last night ( I think I used it on a dual carriageway ). Odometer still seems to be working though any ideas of what is wrong or how to fix it before I start throwing my WH smith vouchers at a mechanic?

Hasn't been the same bike since I had the 8k service wierd vibes at 4.5k rpm.

    Any ideas gratefully received

    Hi,
Maybe you want to check the cable. Running from the front wheel, alongside the front fork, up to the speedometer. Mine comes loose every now and again at the speedometer side (underneath you can insert the cable and fasten it, bit of a hassle if you don't have long thin fingers...)

    Gd Luck,
    T.
