How to make your AT handle better...

Following advise from this forum I finally did some changes to the front suspension:

    - change fork oil with 10w
    - leave air gap at 10mm
    - drop top yoke by 10mm

The result is a noticeably quicker cornering, less dive when braking and more "solid" handling.

Not a bad result for the price of some fork oil and 5-6 cups of tea.

I think you might have a leak in your forks if you can get the oil AND 6 cups of tea in them. If you have to keep topping them up check the seals!!
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

Tesco Finest teabags - good for fork oil change... make sure you always carry some under the seat.
