Hey! got my AT today

What a cold day to have to collect my bike today.
Took my CBR to the dealer, DK up by Stoke, and rode away with an '03 reg AT.

I'd put a pic up but I don't know how to.

The main points so far...great motor, comfy riding position, good lights, love the suspension on crap roads, mirrors that work and great presence on the road.
One thing though, I had trouble starting it a couple of times, think the battery needs a good run to charge it up.

By the way have a guess how many other bikes I saw on the road today.....

    ....none
It was cold with sleet and snow but not that bad.

    Cheers,
    John.

    Weyhey, well done

Yes, it is nasty weather. Luckily I only live 10 miles away from work these days.
Difficult starter: Does the starter have difficulties turning (prolly battery indeed), or does it turn happily but has trouble firing up? (maybe spark plugs). You surely chose "interesting" weather to pick up your bike, but an AT should start reasonably well at these lows.

Have fun, keep those snow-chains nearby

    Congrats!

To post a pic, click on the 'Pictures' hyperlink at the header of the page - this allows you to upload a picture from your pc, and then this site effectively 'hosts' the picture.

When you've uploaded the pic, the screen will give you a string (), which you can copy and paste into this thread.

It's the only forum that I use that 'hosts' pictures for you - well done, DaveS.
