Where on earth can you get a pair of T66s for 65 quid?!

Makes for interesting reading - I always stick with Bridgestone Trailwings - I know that some people don't like them, but for me, they seem fine. I get a nice split between value for money, grip, and lifetime, as I often do 2,000 (mainly motorway) miles in 4 weeks. I don't recall ever getting a slide on them in the dry (excluding jumping on the rear brake), so should I have marked them as excellent? I find them predictable in the wet too (I operate a strict 'better late than crash' policy in bad weather).

On the other hand, I couldn't get rid of my T66's quick enough - I thought they had sod all grip, particularly in the wet, and zero feedback. In fact, they could have been solid tyres for all I know.

    Great!!

This gives a good idea of what people's experiences are with tyres.

Mine is fitted with Bridgstone deathwings and they are fine in dry and wet under normal situations. The moment you hit the back brake in the wet though the rear will be overtaking you

So far done 7k miles and still fair amount of thread left and reckon they will see 10k. However will be moving over to tourances when these are gone, now my expierence with tourances I cannot fault.

You use the Back brake !!!.... I never use the rear brake (except when going down slopes off road, and need to lock the rear wheel instead of going over the bars!)
