    Disconnecting clutch switch query.

Quick question for those in the know.

If I run the bike with the clutch switch wires disconnected exactly what functionality will I lose?

Did this on another bike years back.
I think you can start it in gear without the clutch in.

Ta. Box ticked on that one, not a issue as I never start a bike without the clutch in.

Any idea if it effects starting with the side stand down?

That is a separate switch on the sidestand.
    Easily bypassed.

    Re: Disconnecting clutch switch query.

Well that's that box ticked, exactly what I needed to know.

So with the clutch switch wires disconnected I take it it's just a case of connecting them permanently rather than leaving them seperate?
