    Exhaust

Noticed this morning when I started the AT up the condensation is coming from more areas around the inside of the exhaust instead of just the rear outlet. Close look and the stupid standard pipe is rusted through and on it's way out.

I do have a standard remus lying about in the garage but no connector pipe. Where do you normally source these from?

    Try giving Remus a call.

They may be able to supply just the conector pipe.

Otherwise if your happy with the standard can they are on ebay for around the £50 - £60 mark.

Remus won't talk to you directly and neither will the importer..... well when I tried anyway.
The point you back to a reseller.

When I bought mine they listed the connector pipe separately but IIRC it was £70 odd.

Thanks to V2 I am now the proud owner of a remus Titanium pipe and connector section for a bargain price of £100. Could not wait for it to arrive and when I got home tonight did not even bother getting my bike kit off before fitting it.

Looks very cool although I was hoping for something more of bark But all things considered it might be safer not having something that makes me unpopular with the neighbours. Could not believe the weight of the old can - ton of bricks come to mind

So tomorrow morning I will be ripping it down the A13 with my new and improved AT

    Looks fantastic.
    Well done!
Can't you remove the baffles on these to make them louder?

Good luck with the Remus. You'll might have to rejet to get the best performance.

Hmm, "I was hoping for something more of bark": How silent is it? I'm looking for a semi-silent can for my bike, and that sentence sounds great. I used to have a Laser ProDuro on my bike until a couple of days ago when I replaced it with standard can. Can't believe the difference in noise, but unfortunately the power output (esp. low down torque) affected as well. I think I'll need a new aftermarket can.

    Samih,

I will post a recording of the sound once I can figure out how to convert Nokia amr files to something windows media player could understand.

It is not much louder than the standard can but the difference is enough to let you know it's not standard. Unfortenately I could not let it rip down the A13 today as I am working from home on a job that's suppose to be out by Friday so no pressure on me - AGAIN.

Can anyone confirm if the Remus can is compatible with a touratech pannier rack?

I'd heard somewhere that the Remus wouldn't fit if the Touratechs were on!
