crash bars again

Ok, I will keep this post simple. Im getting some new crash bars, but I have a dilemma. Touratech or Motad. Both a similar price, one shinney, one not. Im not to bothered about ease of fitting, just mainly the crash-proofness of them. I noticed that the Touratech bars sit higher than the Motad ones, does this cause any problems?

I just went through the same dilemna and decided on the Motad bars. Reasonably easy to fit, stainless and crash tested by a few members. Not sure there was as much data on the Touratech bars which is why I went for the Motad ones.
