    re move all of petrol tank

    hello any tips on getting the petrol tank back on with out splitting the petrol pipe as i did this bloody morning .

    I thought you had to have the petrol pipe off when taking it out or putting in back.
    You then need to slip it back on when the tank is back on. Difficult to do but not impossible!

    That what the ladder thingy under the seat is for. It props the tank up whilst you pull down the hoses, cutting your fingers and swearing in the processes.

    It is this little ladder that should be under the seat with the tools. I thought something broke off in the garage when I first saw it.



    It suppose to go between the tank and frame once these two bolts is taken out....

    I don't have one of those in my toolkit - but it looks relatively easy to make something that will serve the same purpose.

    It isn't in the toolkit.
    Its bungeed under the seat.

    Yes, it sits right next to the microwave's remote control panel. :P
