you're either being surreal, or just cleverer than me!
    (either is perfectly possible)
Nah, it is just that your pictures don't pop up in my browser for whatever reason
Wierd. I see phpbb uses some clever javascript for resizing images. Being clever with Javascript usually produces errors in at least a few browsers

I'm using firefox on a linux box, which is almost certainly a browser/platform tested by the phpbb guys! If you're using IE, well then you deserve everything you get really

    FWIW the images are:

flat out on utterly inappropriate tackle

I did the customisation and installed the resizing script, its not standard.
However I've not found a problem yet with anything, but I too can't see those images.
I use Firefox as well, and Opera, and IE!
I'm not sure what the problem is though with those images.

I get lots of opportunities to use my horn, but I'm embarassed to do so, must be something to do with leaving out so early in the morning and nobody being quite awake, I like the idea of something loud and fairly shrill, it has a more unnerving appeal to blast Audi drivers with (yes it is becoming a complex, but there's lots of them in Cheshire).
Perhaps I could time the blast on the horn with a boom from my collector box? would that make a triple horn, or a base with two tweeters?
I reckon I owe the nice boys at Halfords a visit, they must have a spare battery knocking about that I could hook up to

It may be of interest i recently purchased the Fiamm horns featured in the post from Halfords for £14-99, they were sold in a box branded by Ring, they must buy them from Fiamm & box them under there own brand, I will get round to fitting them soon.

    Hi All,

I've spent the last couple of hours looking online at air horns, klaxons etc and eventually found this thread, feel a bit silly, should have started here in the first place, doh!

Am going to get some of what Icenian has got for my new @ which I should be picking up tomorrow

    Hope they mount easy ...

Very easy, at least on an RD07 - it'll bolt straight on to the OE horn bracket, and the wiring connectors work fine. All you need to do is find some largish washers, as the original bracket has a hole that's far too large for the stud on the 'Magnum' horn.

I'm not 100% sure about clearance with the mudguard, but I can't see how they'd clash unless you manage to depress the forks a long way whilst steering hard to the left. I figure that if you find yourself using up that much fork travel, you're either going it a straight line, or crashing!
