    12v Electrical Sockets

    Hey,

Just wondering have any of you guys fitted 12v sockets to your bikes? It took me about 6 months to find the perfect solution for my @. It is Connected straight to the battery, fused and has plastic covers to keep the rain out. Charges my Phone, Powers the Garmin GPS V and Recharges Batteries on the go. It works perfectly but just wondering is there anything I should know... eg... will my battery blow up in the middle of my holidays in Spain or something??

    Sockets

Got the sockets in the local MOTORWAY store here in Dublin. The covers came from a different setup which I got in an electrical store www.peats.com

Took me ages to find the covers. i had to buy a 4 socket Car extension thing for €20 just to get the covers. Not cheap but worth it. Whole setup cost about €50 and two hours to fit.

    Plywood Special

It's actually plywood stained titanium with kevlar Knots. It's a one off, specially hand-crafted and varnished using Ronseal. Had to put it onto the bike because I was afraid of water getting into the electrical sockets!!
