    Scottoiler

I have managed to salvage a Scottoiler from another bike but i have never fitted one before and was wondering if anyone can tell me how to fit it to my @. Any pictures of one fitted to an @ would be really good.

    Thanks

Go to Articles on the top menu and see the article "Fitting a Scottoiler to an Africa Twin"

I agree. Also, the scottoiler website is quiet good, although it shows a TRansalp

Hey simon, you can have a look at my bike to see the way it's fitted, didn't do it myself but it's working very well but it's set up very diferent, insted of driping at the sprocket it drips on the chain from the end of the chain slider, probably a much safer set up for offroad. the previos owner did it.

Will you be taking the twin up the mournes as well?

By the way, it's eugen, the romanian guy you've met on our day out,

got some pictures from that day if you want, i'll put them on a cd for ya, maybe you can post them on this site, i'm no good with computers.

Hi! I was hoping i'd meet you here. Those pictures would be great. It would be good to see the oiler on your @. Not sure if i'll take this girl up the mournes. I'll think about it. Would take it up something a wee bit less rough.

If you give me the photos i can put them on ok. Have you heard from Mark recently?

I see his ugly face every day, he's a courier as well on a cb500.

He's got a klx650 for going up the trails, he sold the super tenere, i got a second bike now to use on the rough stuff and backup for work, an old dr 650 djebel. if i knew you wore seling the pegaso i would've been interested, bit late now. Oh well.

I know some good, less rough trails around ballycastle, softish sandy stuff trough the forest.

Send me a text sometime this week, 07976129572 and maybe we can meet up somewhere? Do you work in Belfast?

What do you think of the twin then?

I actually bumbed into him today on the way into work. I knew that he had changes his job for a bit. I do work in belfast but only for another week and then i'm moving to Bangor Institute next thursday.

If i had the money i would get something like a DR350 for trail riding. But those trails sound good up ballycastle. We should do that and get the others too. Phoneix from this site works in Ards so we could try and get him to come along too. I suppose if we just anounce it on the site we should get a few interested.
