    FIAMM horns - mounting

Since I had my camera out, I took a few pix to show where I mounted my FIAMMs. They went straight onto the studs securing the radiator guards to the radiators. This leaves the horns positioned just behind the air intake holes in the front fairing! I mounted the relay and fuse back under the L/H side cover.

I bought the Fiamm air horns but I couldn't find a good place to mount the "trumpets" and I couldn't be bothered with wiring in the relay, so I took them back to Halfords and the nice young girl swapped them for a single electric horn like yours (and I got a part refund), the single one swaps straight over with the standard one and though probably not quite as loud as yours does give a nice "PARP" at a much higher volume than the standard one.

I was sorely tempted to stick the air horns out sideways thro' the air vent/ engine access hole, that way when you gently cruise past the executive prat in his Audi TT convertible (hood down) who is bound to be doing 25mph with a mobile pressed to his right ear then PAARRPPP! at the right moment deafen him and if it's a really good timed shot get him to jump startled and drop the mobile in the road (preferably under his own rear wheels).

Normal behaviour as far as I can see

I must admit that if I drive past prat-with-mobile-glued-to-ear and they have the window down then I take great delight in pulling in the clutch and playing with the throttle
