Ok, I'm not generally one to blow my own trumpet as it were, but me and a mate have just come back from an 8 week trip on our Twins - 10, 796 miles in total!

Lots of scary moments, one off (not mine!), several drops (6 of them mine!) and some utterly amazing scenery.

No major problems to speak of, a rear wheel bearing, and a couple of little electrical niggles, all of which were easily and cheaply fixed - what outstanding machines!

you should sad before you left that you are passing Serbia & Montenegro.
I could lead you trought and probably save you some money, and tell you what to see and what roads to get.
Could you send pictures and names of places that you visited in Albania, since i'm planing to go there next year and I cant wait...

Newcastle to Bergen (Norway)

Norway through Artic Circle to Nordcapp

5,600 road miles, with the ferrys over six thousand miles travelled with pillion, four offs (low speed) one cop bribe (speeding Lithuania) one knife in rear tyre (maybe in Latvia) one new front tyre and loose chain. Four weeks riding. Loads of ****e weather inlcuding gales that blew a tree down on the road into the path of the car in front of me with lads of rain to follow, four seasons in one day on the Nordcapp. My accomodation consisted of mainly wild camping through Norway, campsites B&B hotels, and one desperate night we camped on a layby in Finland behind the information board for the town, and in the morning a bus load of tourists arrived to take a leak and have a fag, bemused by the two foriegn campers snoring there heads off

Loads of dopey Riendeer that obstructed the road or just run out in front of me, and a lemming attacked my tank bag when i put it down on the Nordcapp, i told him/her to take a running jump off a cliff somewhere

I rode 960 miles in one hit, i was going for my saddle sore award but the ferry prevented me from doing the 1,000 miles in 24hrs, and rob i know how your butt feels At the begining of the trip i thought my leather arse would beat the AT seat into submission, but the seat beat my ass into submission, now i know i have to change it
