    No ignition

What causes that then? Stopped for fuel. Turned key and had lights, horn, you name it, but no ignition. Not a whir. Checked fuses - all OK and sitting snugly. Wiggled every bit of cable I reach. Nada.
Bumped it and drove to destination ready to call for help from the comfort of family armchair. Hey presto ignition returned.
    No problems since either.
    Why did it do that?

Might be the switch on the clutch lever sticking also. If the bike thinks you are in gear with the sidestand down or the clutch lever out, it will not let you use the starter motor. It's so you don't sue them when you fly off unexpectedly.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!
