    Handlebar Risers

I've got a set of handlebar risers on my AT. Unfortunately, being 6'7" I still feel that the reach down to the handlebars when stood on the pegs is a bit far. Does anybody know of some seriously high handlebar risers or know whether it would be possible to fit two sets of handlebar risers on top of each other, providing of course you can find a bolt long enough?

    Handle Bars risers

The longest you can get is 50mm

Don't be tempted to put two sets on, it could cause more problems than it is worth. If you have an accident your insurance company will have an easy out.

Also if you notice putting risers on will not only raise the bars they will also take them back. anymore than the 50mm will start to impact on your steering lock, especially if you have a Tank Bag on.

Up to 25 mm can be mounted without changing your lines. Anything bigger and your brake and clutch lines will be to short

Look's like I'll have to live with the 25mm jobbies I've got then... Thinking of fitting braided hoses, so I'll keep it in mind. Thanks guys!

    Handle Bars risers

    Nearly,

30mm are the upper limit without changing lines, I have 30mm on and so do a few others without the nedd to change.

The cables are not a problem, it is really the front brake hose that stops any further length.

depending on what you want to spend . you have the option of having some made up out of billet allumium block by an engineering firm .
i might look into this myself because i also am a normal size. person it cant be uncommon to make them the streetfighter boys do it all the time watch this space.

I'd be very interested, especially if they can make something which won't force the bars back.

Alternatively I've been considering lowering the footpegs. This might be the better option as you won't need to replace the break lines and you'll lower the bikes centre of gravity even further. I don't think ground clearance will be much affected, even if you lower the pegs by an inch. Anybody tried this?

Has anyone got a picture of risers fitted to an @? Just interested to see what they do.

Apologies for the long wait Simon. Here's a pic of the bar risers.
