    Which crash bars are...

    the easiest to live with

I want some, preferably in black, they must be up to the job of saving my new toy when I drop her, and most importantly not get in the way to much at service time. I dont want to have to dismantle the buggers every time the oil level needs checking...know what I mean?

    Hi

I went for the SW-Motech in black for my Black '03. I bought them from Paul Cave of this very parish. You can get him on 01256 889989 or mobile 07879 627911 or email at paul@eibcltd.co.uk.

These bars came highly recommended and they dont seem to get in the way but then in honesty I've not tried to do too much!

Check out Paul Caves site in the Links forum. He sells decent crashbars at a decent price. Oil changes don't require removal of the fairing so they're fine for that. Mine only took about half an hour to fit so should they need removing for any reason they're easy to do. LB.

    Carport

When I bought mine 6 months ago they were about £112 carriage paid or a little less if collected.

I collected but then Basingstoke is a lot nearer me than it is to you!

    Hope that helps

When you speak to Paul mention this site and he'll then know to do you a deal as he's a member here as well.

I can also recommend the SW Motech one's as well. I fitted some recently, and they've stayed on despite the clutch and various gubbings having to come out.

Definitly a brilliant service. I ordered them from him and had them the next day if i remember and i live in Northern Ireland. It is down to whether he has them in stock though and i was lucky as he just had the one set left.

Yeah I think you beat me to it by about half an hour! It wasn't very long just a couple of days to wait before he got somemore in!
