Server Upgrade - Evening Thur 15th October

All,
I'm sorry for the short notice but I need to do some work on the Xrv forum and get it moved to a new server.
This will happen at some time tonight. Predicting the downtime is a little difficult but the site will appear to be broken whilst this is going on.
I predict about an hour.
I don't know when I'm going to start either as I'm reliant on our web hosts helping me to do this. So I can't tell you very much really.
However life on the other side will be much snappier I promise and I hope you'll like the performance difference I know it's been slow recently.
If you have any problems, questions or issues please email admin@xrv.org.uk which is not affected and I will be happy to respond.

This has now been completed and most things should be ok and back to normal. If you see any blips please post a message in the "Problems" forum.

Right just to round this off, last night we migrated:

8400 Members
324,000 posts
15,000 photos

across to the new server.

Well for the geeks we've actually split across two servers now.
I hope you enjoy the new performance.
