    Re: Me old Mille

I'm back on an Aprilia, third time around. Sold the KTM950ADV to bring in some pennies and got a Caponord for half the cost. Was disappointed at first as it didn't seem like it could possibly have the same (detuned I know) lump as the Falco & Tuono I had. Have just put on 4 new coils (Renault not Aprilia, somewhat cheaper!) and iridium plugs and it's more like an Aprilia litre bike should be. You enjoying the KTM then Chad?

    Re: Me old Mille

I've either been lucky over the years, or Aprilia make damn good bikes as I had no troubles with Falco and Tuono, had each for over two years. Build quality on those two was brilliant, good as Honda. GS1150 I had was corroded to hell, but that may have been salt from winter riding by previous owner. Hope the Capo proves as good as the other two, although it's built down to a price (think you can get a new 07 for £5k new, doesn't have the GS1200 bling, but is well under half the price!). I think parts supply has improved since Piaggio takeover, but then as mine were so trouble free I didn't need the bits...
