Re: Caponord - how good is it then???

[QUOTE=
Not had any experience of Aprillia main dealers so no comment there. Have heard that parts can be difficult to get but thats only hearsay.
[/QUOTE]

my Aprilia broke down at 3 hrs old on the 6th October, still not fixed, waiting for parts from the factory.

Aprilia claim that the parts have been dispatched but the dealer says that they will not have the parts till after the new year.

Re: Caponord - how good is it then???

I think you would have been better of doing a internet search for ya parts. Mine was A Rockets of Blackburn. they told me 3 weeks for the wiring from Italy for the fuel pump. I came home, Did the search and found the same wiring at Yorkshire Aprilia dealer. So in 1 day part sourced & Delivered the next day. only to be told that they need a vitron ring which would take at least another 10 days. I came home again and search again & Found said Vitron ring from speedways of London ( Another Aprilia dealer). delivered to Rockets the very next day. I was F**k fuming why couldn't they have a uk based Parts search data base !!!!!!!. So what would have taken at least 3 weeks with the dealer. It took me 3 days to source and have delivered to the dealer, Another day to have them fitted. From OTHER Aprilia dealers. Isn't life fun !!!!!!!!
