    The new Caponord?

    Aprilia Tuareg 1200 - Infomotori.com

Not sure what I think about this one...

Looks like someone crashed a Kawasaki Versys into an Aprilia Shiver...

Is the adventure market ready for a BROWN motorbike?

    Especially THAT shade of brown!

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Other than the utterly appalling brown colour and the hideous headlight, I'd say it might have potential if it has a 21" front hoop on it, but I'm not sure on that. Radial brakes hmm.

It does look like it could be lighter; in a reverse of the trend where almost all new adventure bikes seem to put on weight.

I think that Aprilla looks superb. My brother-in-law has the Dorsduro which is one brilliant bike, this looks like it built around the same frame engine concept

    Re: The new Caponord?

Looks ace, apart from that bloody downpipe. Can't stand downpipes in that position, urgh!

It works on the dorsoduro because it's not an adventure bike, but putting the downpipe there just doesn't sit well with me for any bike that might be doing offroad- Same for the V strom. Cover that downpipe and I love the V strom, so if a decent bash gets made for the aprilia then I'll probably love it! That's also quite a nice looking end can.

Looks relatively skinny, also, which is always nice. No doubt the honda adventure offering will be a fat bugger with that V4, but we'll see.
