I've been looking at this site with much interest and I was wondering a few things.

1.What is the merchandise like; what's its quality?

2.How do you order from him? I mean, there's no shopping basket system, no contact address (just in case) except for a Web address, no telephone number...nothing!

3.Is he trust worthy? Has anyone had dealings with Shiny-Bits and what was the outcome?

I'd really like to know these things, 'cause the stuff on the site looks really neat and I'd be buying a lot of the stuff a little later on if the above questions can be answered.

He will send you the bits first and then you pay him later. We'll he used to do that anyway.

This is only a sideline for him, he has a full time job so you won't necessarily get the items quickly, but they are excellent quality. I've been very impressed.

The best way is to drop him an email and discuss your requirements with him.

Thanks for the offer. I don't want to put anyone out or anything, so next time you find that you're passing this way and also want to go to Bristol then let me know and I'll hitch a lift (I can't afford the gas at the moment). :) But yes, I am really interested in what he makes (I printed out a pic of some of his stuff looong before I knew who made it!), especially things like the shields for the engine parts, exhaust, and especially the radiator grill. I just can't wait to cover up the ugly mess that is the front of the radiator.

Paul is a top guy. I ordered the bits, he sent them to me. Told me if I like them, pay him, if not, send the bits back.

Paul sent me a CD of pic's he took when he restored his RD03, at no charge not even postage, even though I'd already told him I wouldn't be buying anything off him (I just don't like polished stuff).
Top bloke with a genuine interest in bikes and a very nice manner.

As above, :D pay for the goods when you receive them, chain guard is a lot better than the Tourtech one.
