So we can publish this on the site as a regular meetup/rideout we'll need to know the following:

Where do you want it?
When
A meet or ride or both
Any extra details or a contact username for more information

If you know of a good venue, let everyone know..

If you're interested - let everyone know..

I am up for either a meet or a rideout but need a few weeks notice to sort out work shifts.

As to location, well somewhere in Somerset?

How about Weston-super-Mare. Handy for me and I know DaveS lives there.Where are you Boxer.

Weston is only about an hour from me so would be ok

I live in Bridgwater so we should meet up as only 12 miles apart and regularly in Burnham as I work there.

Just worked out how to edit my profile so it says that now.

I work nights Sunday to Thursday starting at 8pm so cannot make any midweek evening meets but up for any weekend rideouts. Boxer if you work shifts I'm always up for a rideout during the day midweek. I often go for a short blast to Minehead or Porlock hill to blow away the cobwebs.

OK. How about a little rideout next weekend. Lets be the first group to get up and running. What about meet at the bike park on Weston seafront and then a little jaunt down to Minehead. Just a thought I would be open to any other meeting place or route. Saturday or Sunday. Come on it was lovely out today.

Its in the Diary for Sunday 5th Feb. I am free up until about 1pm as I have to be in Bristol at 3pm (but need to take the car with me).

How's this for a plan.

I like the idea of a ride to Minehead as even with the current speed limits its a good road.

I don't really want to ride to Weston first cos that's means I have to get up early (i finish work at 2am that morning) so:

Dave S (if he's coming) could meet you in Burnham and then you could meet me in Bridgwater. I was thinking at THE EXCHANGE (that's the big gym by the roundabout at the enbd of Bristol Road). How about 09:30 at this point.

Other people could meet at Weston, Burnham or Bridgwater as they see fit.

What do you think?

McVicar
29-01-06, 05:36 PM
Right I'll be at the Exchange for 9.30. If anybody wants to meet in Weston or Burnham first just post here and I'll meet you.

McVicar
30-01-06, 07:06 PM
Come on Chaps it's all gone quiet. I know there's lots of you around here. I know it's early but once you get going you'll be glad you made the effort.

Just us then. Is my mate allowed on his KTM?

McVicar
31-01-06, 06:09 AM
He sure is. As there are only the two of us in the South West chapter we make the rules. :D

Now come on.... its only 30 mins up the road, and it must cost you a grand total of about £8 to come on a rideout with us assuming we do a few miles.

Any more southwest meet-ups planned, now the weather is getting warmer?

I'm smack bang in the middle of the South/Southwest area, so can go to either meet-up really...

Okay guys, I've had a fab idea. What about if we go to Weymouth on the 28th of May? I visit the South West Bikers site a lot and there's a load of them going on that date. What if all the South West @ lot go too! Just imagine all those denizens of Weymouth's faces when they see all those bikers coming rumbling down the road into town!

Want to arrange a join up? Then visit THIS (http://www.southwestbikers.com/viewtopic.php?t=79372) link! :D

Right then ladies and gentlemen... we're overdue for a South West Rideout.

I'd like to propose a rideout and then BBQ back at my place in Worle.

We can take in some of the Mendip scenery perhaps and surrounding areas so as not to go too far.

I'm thinking later in July early August.
So is there a common date around this time that those that want to come can or can't make.
Perhaps list down any weekends you can't make, and I'll try to find a date that keeps most people happy.
