My 1988. I *think* that it was originally a French-market model - not a surprise as we all know that the trail bikes have been more popular on the continent than here.

Great to see the NX included here. You could argue the NX is the Honda most closely related to what this site is about. I always wanted one - maybe some day...

Hello and welcome all dommies, i had a friend who had one of these and I always liked the look of them, nearly got one from some guy up near Matlock, see lots out and about in Derbyshire, kinda like a big grown up version of the old XL125 i had....err... very long time ago

JTNX650 from Australia here.
Just had a look at your website after following a link from a post on our OZDOM group - it looks good, and is a good reference for Dommie owners. I was particularly interested in Samwise's postings on luggage racks etc.
I'll be back

OZDOM is a great site - I've been there a lot. Got to be one of the best NX knowledge resources out there...
Keep up the good work!

Heyho guys, nice to see a UK site for the beloved Dommie :D I've got a '95 Dommie which is my every day workhorse, and I love her to bits :D
I'd post a photo if I could only figure out how
Got back from the Dragon rally yesterday and sadly can only report one other Dommie present as far as I could see. Tragic to be out numbered by KLR's
See you guys around.[/img]

My Honda mechanic tells me that the NX250 is one of Honda´s best bikes ever, as far as he´s concerned. Says they use no fuel, can take any beating offroad, and there are a certain number of bikes, that have some kind of engine treatment (that I know nothing about) that have engines that will outlive us all.
A pretty nice bike. 8)

The 250 is indeed not a thirsty bike, but that goes for a lot of bikes that small...
The odd thing is that the NX250 is nothing at all like the NX650, apart from a passing resemblance in the plastic department. The 250 is a wet sump water cooled shim valved, well, 250. While the 650 is dry sump air cooled and has valves that you can actually adjust without ordering parts.

Only if you ask nicely :P
It's nice to have NX650 forum too. Ain't too much these machines on road I guess. But here's mine being fixed after a minor bumb from the big GS, that took my tail light. Nothing serious...:)
