Just thought I'd have a look in here and see what was going on.
I think it's cool we've now got a Dominator forum. It'll be great once the word gets around and traffic picks up.
Samwise definately has the lowdown on the Dominator mods - a lot of that stuff could be useful as an article.

I'm gobsmacked, Samwise has nearly started to outstrip the Varadero section singlehanded. If the mug picture gets changed to a Dominator, will my XRVmug become a collectors items?

Nice track :D
I just need someone to hit the tracks with, so that I can actually get into the pictures or get some action shots :)

What!? Another one?
It must be bad if you think the UK has offroad freedom.
The sign in the photo should have read like a monopoly square:
PASS GO WHILE YOU STILL CAN,
DO NOT DEVIATE LEFT OR RIGHT
BUT GO STRAIGHT TO THE END
OF THIS VERY SHORT LANE
AND COUNT YOURSELF LUCKY,
OR GO DIRECT TO JAIL.
DO NOT ENJOY YOURSELF
AS THIS IS ILLEGAL IN THE UK.
PLEASE REPORT AN FOX HUNTERS,
COUGHING COWS OR MOTOR-
CYCLISTS FOR IMMEDIATE
TERMINATION.

Blimey, feel better now!

I live near Amsterdam...
Any and all unpaved roads (and a lot of paved ones as well if they happen to contain a corner or two) are there purely by accident and should by no means be used, especially not to have something that might possibly be described as "fun". And not otherwise, neither.
Failure to comply will result in Signs Being Put Up declaring the road closed for anything except bicycles and pedestrians.
The fact that you guys have actual signage for the concept of going offroad puts you ahead of us here. That goes for those "ford" signs too.

All the motorcycle-accessible tracks on the IOM are shown in one of my SmugMug galleries (http://samwise.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/98074) - I've taken the information on very large-scale maps supplied by the Highways Dept and transposed it on to appropriate maps of the island.
