Without rushing out and filling up your licence points quota in one hit....can anyone tell me what the Dommies 0-60mph time is (as near as dammit ?

I've found the following page for reaching 400m from 0kmh and for reaching 400m starting from 50kmh - http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/3906/honda.html#Acceleration
and a Danish site (Bikez.dk (http://www.bikez.dk/mc.php?mc=2729)) quotes 5.5 seconds for the 0-100kmh mark for a '93.

About 6 seconds is how I've heard it, or about the same as a porsche boxster. Which I've tried. Boxsterdude was sleeping... :-)

Hmmm...very interesting ! OK - next question  by what method, or methods, would a German workshop reduce the effect of a Dommie from 44 to 27HP (For those viewing in black & white... 32.1 to 19.7kW). Any takers :?:

My guess would be a smaller hole in the intake manifold, and appropriate jetting.

Thanks rubberducky...um chicken - sorry ! (It's just that i still have one for the winter months...) I remember fixing a smaller rear wheel sprocket and adding a larger jet nozzle in my ancient Puch in 1975..so I'm half way understanding. Any idea how big the hole is supposed to be (as the actress said to the bishop) :?: I assume we're talking about the plate between the air filter compartment and the carb, or am I totally mechanically inept :?:
Confucious say.....man who ride bike behind car get exhausted !
Thanks !

As far as I know it's the rubbery bit between the carb and the engine that has the restriction...
Here's some pics of the unrestricted version:

To get back on this briefly, I just found this picture on ebay:

This is the restricted manifold for the NX, with a clearly visible smaller opening.
