Hi Scott,
Ive got an 88 dom, and it never had bar ends. I'm not sure that the later bikes had them. I gues your looking to protect the bar ends or reduce vibration?
I reckon you could get something to fit if you can measure the internal diameter of your bars. There is probably something available from Motrax, M & P or Busters perhaps ?
Ant.
Right you are thanks.
I'll get the old man's vernier calipers out at the weekend.

Picked up my bar ends at my local dealers no probs. Just asked for some to fit a dommie and he grabbed them off the shelf. Mine are crash protectors (God knows I need 'em) and I got them when I fitted the Oxford heated grips Last winter. When you put the heated grips on they leave the end of the bars open you see.
hope thats a help.

I've got those wraparound acerbis handguards that I'm not sure of if they're ever going to come off again, looking at the bolt holes or what's left of 'em. ;-)

Which Acerbis hand guards have you got? I'm thinking about the Rallye II or Rallye Pro, but not sure which yet :dontknow:

Sorry if i'm jumping in here Ben, but just to let you know I fitted UFO hand guards to my bike - they included Aluminium reinforcement so are very strong if they hit anything. Included all brackets - a bit fiddly to fit and cost about £40 from my local MX shop i think. A couple more pics here (if the link works) :?

I've got the standard ones, not sure what type it is but they don't have any aluminium reinforcement or anything...

What's the purpose of these bar ends? If you're looking to reduce vibes, check out these:

I don't work for 'em, but I do have these bar ends on my '88 domie and '91 K75. They work well to quell the upper end vibes that'll give your hands the 'stingers' after a few hours.
Good luck!
Domies do not need end bars
Counter rotating shaft double rpm than crankshaft make vibrations almost non existent for a well balanced domi
Mine was OK until the first important "crash"; after it, bike is OK but not so soft as et the beginning

We'll agree to disagree. Compared to my K75 (and the R100) the dommie has got a bad case of the vibes. Especially at high speeds <-got a speeding ticket on my dommie, clocked at 88mph (140Km/h).
Perhaps the US version ('88 and 89) has been improved for European consumption?

Well it is a big single... And those K bikes are nearly electric. ;-)
But compared to a KTM the NX is a very friendly "good vibrations" bike.

I've got a US version, can't say the vibes are bothering me...
Though when I got on a friends R6 and tried to start it I found out that it was already running, which I hadn't noticed at all.
There are differences between the US and euro models, like disc instead of drum rear brake, and the shock absorber is more adjustable in the euro models. Oh, and the euro models have less junk on 'em, thank heavens mine isn't a california version, those are even worse. ;-)
