Sent a parts query to Honda UK, and got this reply. For pete's sake - how difficult can it be to look it up and give a guy an answer...5 minutes ?

I also rang, and the chap said he'd mail me back......I wonder ?

Dear Mr ******,

Thank you for your email. Unfortunately you have come through to Honda UK
and we only deal with UK products. We can only advise contacting Honda in
your own country of residence, details of which can be found on
www.world.honda.com

I can't see it on the PowerSportsPro website microfiche - have you sent an email and the pic to David Silver Spares?

I think it's the bit near the arrow... Which appears to be one of those phantom parts that doesn't have a partnumber (or it's one piece with the stator, in which case you're screwed) :?

I've been leafing through the big green honda manual, and it's not really explained anywhere, a few offhand mentions in unrelated sections, but that's it.

Can't you solder an alligator clip onto it and just clip that on? ;-)

:!: yep ... it was Mark who said they couldn't find it on any any document. When I rang him, he gave me the number of Honda UK (see the other post).

I think I'm just going to use two ring terminals http://www.partex.co.uk/crimps.html , with one crimped onto the wire and tuther crimped on the switch stub...then bolt them both together....beats just hanging there I suppose...the power of dreams huh ?
