Hi everybody
Just incredible that a forum dedicated to Dominator exists in the web
I own one ot those very good machines so called Honda Dominator, mine is from 1991, Japan made, and im really happy with it. No latest technology, no latest image, but reliability good quality of materials and ... it is mine 8)
Anyway my bike is a little special from suspensions point of view. I'll let you know later.
Find some pics of my babe:

And finally some view after a dirt session:

Well related my suspension i'll tell you that in my bike, there is no helicoidal spring reacting against any rigid portion of the frame.
In rear suspension I decided aprox 2 years ago to install a Fournales monochock ... amazing. I dont know if you've heard 'bout it but it is a full air spring.
As you may have noticed, rear suspension in Domi has a "small" room for improvement; then I decided to spend almost 1/3rd of the cost of my babe just in one monoshock .. (bit mad could someone think). The result: amazing --> better absorption, progressive, adjustable, better traction, ... good thing; for you to have an idea, my set up tor RR shock pressure is 26 bar in free condition . Anybody could realize that it is really high pressure in working conditions ... Im happy with it.
Regarding Front suspension Im even happier: It is my product . Approximately one year and a half ago I decided together with some colleagues to develop a new and challenging suspension system for front forks.
You all know that offer in front fork improvement systems is really limited and expensive. You may find something from Race Tech, changing springs by others with higher rate, change the full fork (Marzzocchi, WP or Ohlins for example) ... some of them are not effective enough to realize a real change in your bike's performance and others are very very expensive and you are altering the initial structural design from manufacturer.
With this overview, I started to develop a theory based on real gas behaviour; in other words, gas behaviours in a progressive manner when you compress it.
First attempt: to design a full air sistem for front forks; First result: NG (too tough to explain here why).
Second attempt: Hybrid Fork Suspension :  :D Here we are; It was born HFS System; it is patented to an international extent; it has been developed for more than one year basically on two motorbikes : (a) Of course my Honda Dominator and (b) a BMW F-650 GS Dakar ... Awesome improvement.
In order not to extend too much, should you want to know more about the system you can click next link, that is our web : www.bytoto.com.
I can assure you that my domi's performante in term of suspensions has been improved drastically with respect to original system, and it is really impressive how it runs on loose stones, rocks, bumps, hits ... simply she goes on the path you want her to go, and I can remember very well that with original system it was near to impossible because suspension did not absorb very much, and it reached bottom up very easily ... no fork travel to break in some conditions ... uuuhhhh
Well friends, it is not a "propaganda" post, but just my presentation and sharing with you "technical opportunities" that are appearing in the market.
Bye
(and sorry if I have extended too much  and for my bad english)
