One of those gems...... does the spark plug you are using have the screw-on terminal cap fitted, or are you running with just the male threaded terminal.... ? :confused: Mine's the latter but feels loose ! (never noticed this before...)

A plug cap that's designed for a nipple ended plug just won't clip on at all to a screw threaded plug. If the plug feels loose it's probably because it's just two sprung wires holding it in place (try picking a plug up between two stiff wires and see how it swings back and forth)

If in doubt just buy a new cap (they should really be replaced every one or two years anyway as on a bike they're open to the elements and tend to corrode)
