I have a storm case 2050. There are others of varying shapes.
Looks pretty sturdy... and also rather large.
Do they do any smaller sizes?

After plating around with the autocom under the seat / in a tank bag / in a tail pack, I have just bought a "Storm Case". This waterproof box, made of ABS plastic is virtually indestructable.
I have designed the inside to accomodate a PMR Radio (external ariel), a mobile phone and MP3 player.
The sockets for the rider and pillion connections exit through waterproof grommets at the bottom of the case, and power is also via a waterproof grommit.
I plan on bolting the case to the existing GIVI Rack, so it sits secure to the rear of the bike.
When using the Givi Top Box, the case can be fastened using bungee's to the passenger grab handles.
I am also thinking of getting a larger Storm Case to use as a top box.
Pix will follow as soon as I start my little project.
jason do you have a link for where you got it or any pics ive been thinking of this for some time but cant seem to find anything suitable :D
Be very interested in seeing that... I've messed around with my Autocom and it's under the seat of my 99 TA, which as I've got Givi pannier racks means it's pretty tedious getting at it. Also been considering permanently fixing the Garmin Quest to my TA... so it can't be nicked, but I can leave it on the bike.Any ideas????

Note, Rider / Passenger connectors and power pass externally at the rear of the case
Total Size (same dimensions as an Argos Catalogue, and twice as thick)http://www.btinternet.com/~jason.vaughan/a_com/IMG_0576.JPG
Just have to cut the rear of the box for the rider / passenger connections, and make up a waterproof gland to pass the cables through
