If you give the calipers a thump with a rubber mallet it will free them ,but as Maverick said only solution is to strip and lubricate the sliding parts of the calipers

Moved the bike in my garage today, getting ready fore some cleaning and small maintenance after about 6 months of storage.
Noticed that at least one of the front brake pads were sticking to the disc. Managed to push the bike with some effort
Do I have to take the caliper of for cleaning and pushing the sliding part back, or is there an easier solution to this problem?
Thanks
The best thing you can do is take the caliper off and clean it properly, we serviced mine a weekend ago and they looked terrible. It will save you alot of pounds in the long run
